I know I may be most known in the entrepreneurial community for shooting women, but I actually LOVE shooting men as well. In my early days I had a lot of practice shooting dozens and dozens of male actors headshots from age 9 to 90, and I have quite enjoyed the “Corporate Lifestyle Portraiture” work (as I like to call it, rather than just “corporate headshots”) that I get to do in LA and NYC.
I guess my acting background allowed me to dabble in so freakin’ many different areas (finance, legal, wall street, art auction houses, advertising, food service, medical, artist management…the list goes on…I used to draw up contracts for $25 million dollar Picasso paintings…but I also passed out mugs in a mini skirt in Times Square in dead of winter. I worked for a top pediatric children’s cancer surgeon, and I also shoveled manure on a horse ranch. All vlid experienced I wouldn’t change in retrospect.) It somehow allows me to quickly figure out people and how best to portray them for their specific field, and even position.
I wanted to put up a few of Travis’ pictures partly to show them in action on his new website designed by the amazing Michelle Goldblum. I was so thrilled with how they utilized what Travis and I captured together all over Midtown Manhattan.

We hit up the red Love and the Hope sculptures (oh I wish I could remember exactly where they are but they’re pretty easy to just google), in and around Grand Central, at his office which we used as our home base for clothing changes… I think my FAVORITE pic is the one where all the people are blurring and whooshing around him.

That was a really fun challenge working with cabs and traffic signals and all the people. Travis Pomposello is a Lifestyle Strategist with an impressive history as a TV Executive and a whole lotta other things. He is a highly impressive man with a million fascinating and totally engrossing stories to tell. I mean, this guy has LIVED.

I found him very inspiring, cool, super smart, super stylish, confident, highly curious, easy to talk to, an awesome listener, and with a real caring and depth to him – in how he talked about his family and his clients alike. I also really like his unique combination of sophistication, combined with humility and down-to-earth-ness. I can’t wait to see him skyrocket even further than he already has.
