Hey lovely one! I’m Caroline White

I’ve been creative/artsy/visual in one way or another pretty much my entire life. I’ve received a handful of awards for my portrait and “headshot” work (ugh, that word!). I am based in Los Angeles but I travel a ton! I moved here to be an actress – and I actually did that for quite a while! I worked on stage, film, TV and a bunch of national commercials – I even had my own little production company for a while and we made our own short films – often I was acting, producing, location scouting, casting and making espressos and paninis for the whole crew. I guess you could say I like to stay busy, especially when I am in creating mode. ANYWAY, I finally got a “real” camera in 2005 and started working as a pro photog, and haven’t looked back since. In fact – and this may sound crazy – my very first paying client ever back in 2005 – one of the images we captured together ended up on a magazine cover! definitely fell head over heels in love with photographing people.

And bidding the entertainment industry adieu was an easy no-brainer (though I am still crazy in love with movies, which makes sense since I also shoot video. STORIES.They are just so powerful.) I realized photography was my true calling and my mind just naturally thinks in terms of marketing, personal branding and iconic imagery. Among some of the shining entrepreneurs that I’ve had the pleasure and the honor to capture are: Marie Forleo, Jason Silva, Reverend Michael Bernard Beckwith of Agape and The Secret, Fabienne Fredrickson, Natalie MacNeil, Carrie Green of Female Entrepreneur Association, and Marketplace’s Kai Ryssdal of American Public Media and NPR.

Continuing to give my time and talent to worthy causes is also a component of my mission. I’ve done non-profit photography and video work in India, and have raised tens of thousands of dollars for various causes and charities from school funding to cancer to autism and others. If you work closely with a non-profit, charity or foundation and are looking for gifts of service for your next charity auction I encourage you to reach out.
Inspired hugely by my Great Aunt, legendary LIFE Magazine photographer Margaret Bourke-White, I strive to bring out and capture your truest and best essence, inspiring a sense of trust from anyone who sees your images.
